8th Annual College of Physicians Story Slam

Join the Section on Medicine and the Arts for the 8th Annual College of Physicians Story Slam! 

The event features local medical students and healthcare providers sharing their personal experiences through stories. 

All are welcome to attend, and the metropolitan Philadelphia medical schools are invited to field a team of two storytellers—one health professional at any level or a medical student at any level. Each contestant will have 5 minutes to tell a medically related story, and at the end, the audience will select the three best stories. 

Timeline 

6:00 PM: Doors open and light refreshments available 

6:30–8:00 PM: Story slam 

8:00–8:15 PM: Audience judging 

This event is open to the public.

Please note: The Mütter Museum will not be open during this event. Tickets are nonrefundable, but can be transferred to other people. By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, audio recording, video recording and its release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media, or any other purpose by The College of Physicians/The Mütter Museum and its affiliates and representatives.
