Ethics on the Table: An Interactive Experience

Please join the College's Section on Medicine, Ethics, and the Law for "Ethics on the Table: An Interactive Experience." 

Whether you're a patient, a provider, a lawyer, or the loved one of one of those (spoiler: this pretty much means all of us!) — this is for you.

Join us! You'll step into the room as a real medical case unfolds — from informed consent through an unexpected complication to its resolution. You'll ask questions, debate with your table, vote at key decision points, and discover the outcome alongside everyone else. You'll leave with new and refined tools for ethical reasoning — and, whether you're a healthcare provider or a patient, strategies for having better conversations with each other.

You'll leave with sharper ethical instincts — practical tools for thinking through hard medical decisions and for having better conversations the next time you're in a room having one of these discussions.
