Postmortem First Look for College Fellows and Museum Members
Members Event

We're excited to extend the opportunity for Museum Members and College Fellows to join us for a special first look at our newest exhibition, , on Friday, May 24th. Postmortem Project explores ethics, respect, and consent in relation to the collection and display of human remains. Members and Fellows are integral to our institution and community, and we want to hear from you to help imagine and build towards the future!
Guests are invited to offer their feedback and get a first look at our new Postmortem Project exhibition which highlights rarely-seen items and encourages interaction with the galleries in a new way that centers visitor feedback. Moderated discussions with members of the project team and our staff will offer a thought-provoking exploration of ethical questions that are at the heart of future exhibitions and questions around the display of human remains.
Through exhibitions, surveys, and interactive discussions, we invite you to lend your voice to shaping the future of the Museum. Led by a diverse team of internal and external experts, Postmortem is a visionary two-year project seeks to pave the way for a more inclusive, respectful, and enlightening museum experience.
